Windchill Change Management
This training provides a comprehensive understanding of how to manage engineering changes within the Windchill environment. The training is specifically designed for individuals involved in initiating, approving, and implementing product changes.
Description
The training begins with an introduction to key Windchill Change Management objects used to control and track product data throughout the engineering change process.
The main body of the course focuses on how to create and manage the following Change Objects:
- Problem Reports – Used to report issues with product data or to suggest an enhancement.
- Change Requests – Used to formally propose changes following the review and acceptance of a Problem Report.
- Change Notices – Used to define an implementation plan, including how the change will be executed and who will be involved.
Participants will gain hands-on experience in authoring change objects in Windchill and learn how to perform task sign-offs to facilitate approvals throughout the change process. By the end of the course, users will be fully equipped with the skills needed to manage product changes efficiently within the Windchill system.
