Plaxis-Introduction to Finite Element Method in Geotechnical Engineering
Featuring a combination of lectures, discussion and PLAXIS-based workshops, this interactive two-day course covers the background required to practice responsible numerical modelling of soil structures to predict deformation and stability. Topics include: Introduction to the FE method as applied to geotechnics Constitutive laws – Background on material modelling Nonlinear analysis and solution methods Drained and undrained modelling Practical examples on the use of FE for geotechnics
Description
